大家是不是议一下这周日去哪里拍花。连着两个周末都没找到花，心里有点儿毛。。

如果南边花还没有开的话，北边可能也够呛。

我看他们北加州的朋友们，已经拍了好多野菜花了，今年的南加州是啥情况？怎么都没花。照说，这么多雨，没花没可能啊！

这两天天气热，搞不好会有点花出来。

赶紧找地方啊，我家领导礼拜五走，这两个礼拜我彻底FREE啦！

Wildflowers and Sightseeing. Carrizo Plain National Monument

2011 Wildflower Status

23 March 2011: Note: The Panorama Road is closed due to mud. Simmler Road and the south end of Elkhorn road are muddy and may be impassable. Do not attempt unless you have a high-clearance 4X4.

* Bush Lupine: Selby Road.
* California Poppies: Selby Road
* Coreopsis: Along Simmler Road. Note that since it has been raining, Simmler Road will be muddy and impassable.
* Fiddleneck: Mostly the the south end of the monument, Elkhorn Plain and on the west side of the Temblor Range and Elkhorn Plain.
* Filaree: There is a good bloom between the end of the pavement on Soda Lake Road south to Panorama Road. Note: Panorama Road is closed.
* Goldfields: Blooming in Calfornia Valley. Patches around Soda Lake, Traver Ranch, both sides of Panorama Rd., Elkhorn Plain the Temblor Range and at the south end of the monument. Hillside Daisies: On the west slope of the Temblor Range. On both sides of Soda Lake Rd. from the Education Center to the south end of the monument.
* Jared's Peppergrass: Appears as a long, pale yellow strip blooming in the center of the plain.
* Phacelia: A small patch along Soda Lake Road, about 7 miles north of State Highway 166.
* Tidy Tips: Blooming in Calfornia Valley. Carpets of flowers both north and south of Goodwin Education Center along Soda Lake Road. Patches around Soda Lake, Traver Ranch, both sides of Panorama Rd., Elkhorn Plain the Temblor Range and at the south end of the monument.

附和Xu Xi的建议，要不我们周末去Saddleback Butte State Park。据说那里的黄花开了，


这个地方从来没去过，还能有点新鲜感。而且离Landcaster不远。据说那里的puppy也开了，搞好了可以一天跑两个地方。

好啊，好啊！到那里拍 黄花+姑娘。

March 30 2011 Larry Reports: Took a drive out to the Antelope Valley Poppy Reserve. Very few poppy flowers in the reserve, mostly single flowers spread through out. There seemed to be more patches along the road to the reserve. This photo was taken about 3 miles before the reserve alongside Lancaster Rd.

明天（4/3周日）要去拍野花的同学注意啦。。
