看见大家都那么积极，我也有点手痒了，明天下午和晚上(1月2日)想去拍天文馆，如果有人同去就最好。计划下午4点半到位，架好相机，拍到晚上。

kenny, 如果你不去，能否把你上去拍照的地址短信给我，我看你那个位置最好。

今晚的晚霞非常漂亮，如果今晚在天文馆就好了。明天是mostly sunny,机会也不错。

其实你可以早一点 hiking 到山顶然后一路拍下山。那山顶的景色 is spectacular. 在天文馆前停車后大约一个小时可走到對面山顶。最好穿 hiking 鞋和带些水。

There are various trail-ways leading up to Dante's Peak. But the easiest way up is to start at the trail head directly in front of the Observatory, right next to the parking lot. You don't really need to hike all the way to the top to take good photos of the Observatory. Actually just 1/2 mile up the trail is probably good enough. But the further you go up, the more of LA cityscape you can get into the frame. On a clear day, you could see Catalina Island from Dante's Peak.

If you are going to stay at the top taking cityscape photos after dark, make sure to bring a good flash light with you and be careful hiking down the mountain in darkness.
