San Diego -- Big Bay Boom 2009 - An Independence Day Fireworks Spectacular

The Big Bay Boom July 4th Fireworks Show is back for its ninth year, promising another spectacular display over San Diego Bay. Fireworks will be discharged simultaneously from four barges placed strategically around the bay off Shelter Island, Harbor Island, the Embarcadero area and Seaport Village.

It all starts at 9 p.m. on Saturday, July 4. Four barges, strategically placed around the north bay area of San Diego Bay, will discharge fireworks simultaneously to live broadcasted music on 105.7 The Walrus FM radio. The show will also be televised live on San Diego FOX 5 HD and Cox 4 HD, covered with four remote cameras and a helicopter. The impeccably choreographed display will last approximately 16 1/2 minutes.

2201 S. Peaceful Hill Road, -- 5 minutes from Freeway 60 and 2 minutes
to Freeway 57 then Freeway 5 to San Diego

第一站拍攝景點: 1:00 PM to about 3:30 PM

Directions from Interstate 5
Exit Genesee Ave.
Go West up hill - 4th stop light make a left on North Torrey Pines Road (to head south)
Make a right onto Torrey Pines Scenic Drive (2nd stoplight)
Take Torrey Pines Scenic Drive all the way to the end and park in the dirt parking lot. We are on top of the hill. Look up to see gliders flying along the cliff!

第二站拍攝景點: about 3:45 PM to 5:30 PM
Easter Cross: Mt. Soleda Natural Park -- Soledad Road, La Jolla, CA 92037 Cross Street Via Capri or 6905 La Jolla Scenic Drive, South
Direction : Torrey Pines Road to Hidden Valley Road right to Via Capri left to Soledad Road.
此處可從高處觀展拍攝聖地牙哥地區四週全景及海灣

第三站拍攝景點: about :6:00 or 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM
集結時間地點: 6:00 PM at 1201 1st. Street #201 Burger King parking lot at 1201 #201 Coronado, CA
如附圖所示，海灣內有四個景點，同時釋放煙火
選擇此處，近景為海灣，對面背景為Seaport Village及其後的聖地牙哥高樓 Best view point for fireworks photo shooting.-- besides the San Francisco bay, New York harbor and Hong Kong. Etc.

Leave from San Diego about 10:00 PM.
Back home to Los Angeles about 12:01 AM.
